Update: We're in the tail end of the storm now, but the RNLI are still issuing warnings about the sea state. So be extra careful around the coast at the moment.
For more information about beach safety, check out the RNLI website
To ensure everyone's safety we have taken the following actions:
- A full risk assessment is available in the Health and safety section of our guests area.(Reviewed monthly.)
- Our cleaners have received specialist training.
- Check in has been pushed back to 5pm to allow our cleaners additional time to complete their new procedures.
- Our cleaners use an anti-viral fogging machine to ensure all surfaces are sterile.
- Additional cleaning products and anti-viral hand wash has been made available to our guests.
The response to the virus across Newquay has been excellent, we have not seen thousands descending on the beaches, as seen in some of the other popular destinations, for the most part people have been very sensible with local authorities, business's, and individuals taking sensible steps to ensure everyone's safety.
We are pleased to announce that Crest Holidays has been assessed by Visit England with regards to our response to the Corona virus pandemic and are now recognised as “good to go”.

Check out our Environmental page for more information
We want you to get the most out of your stay so if there`s anything you need help with please get in touch. Many of our guests will contact us for recommendations on places to visit, events that are taking place during their stay and the best places to eat. If you tell us what sort of thing you’re looking for we are more than happy to help.

We love dogs and believe this is their holiday too. Newquay is very dog friendly, and there’s no reason for your best friend to have to stay locked up or tied to a lamppost! Our appointed K9 Consultant, Mr Pringle, has tried many of the local restaurants, pubs, beaches and activities, to assist us in making recommendations. So if your dog’s recall isn’t great but he wants to play on the beach we know just the place. You want to go out as a family for a Sunday roast? – dog friendly roast dinner no problem. You’re all eating ice cream and your dog’s feeling left out? – You’re going to want the doggy ice cream shop.

Location, Location, Location.
I think it’s fair to say that we couldn’t have picked a better location. We are right in the middle of Newquay, the surfing capital of the UK. Step out of the front door of Crest Court, go across the road and there in front of you is Towan Beach.
Towan is more sheltered from the west than Fistral and so it is more family friendly on big wave days. This beach is home to the Blue Reef Aquarium, Cafes, Toilets, Beach Shops, Surf hire and lessons even a fish and chip shop. Everything you need for a day on the beach is right here just moments from our door.
Across the beach is the harbour with its boat trips, fishing trips and wildlife safaris Lifeboat station and rich history.
To the right is the iconic Killacourt which hosts live music every weekend throughout the summer. It’s a great place to have a picnic, enjoy an ice cream or just walk the dog in great surroundings.
To the rear of the building is the town centre with all the facilities you would expect. Whether you want milk and a loaf or fresh lobster, it’s on your doorstep. Bars, pubs and clubs are within easy stumbling distance, but our location protects us from most of the noise that often goes hand in hand with this proximity.
